Filament Sensor Stuck on "1"

Hi.

I've been through the FS troubleshooting page and read through threads and can't seem to find my exact problem. The only thing that sends the FS back to "0" is to unplug it from the wire. Dislodging it from it's seat still leaves it on "1". If I switch it with another FS it still says "1" while unseated. What could cause a unseated Filament Sensor to stay stuck on "1"?

Thanks!

I'll go at it with the multi-meter this morning and see what I find.

Ready for a good laugh? The wire and sensor were fine as were the adapter-printer and FS lever. The problem was that the connector on the sensor wire was installed upside down. All I would have had to do was flip the darn connector relative to the sensor haha. We have a pretty large farm here and I'm constantly finding things like this that a previous employee messed up. It's just as well, the wires were badly twisted in the bundle and it looked like a couple rats got in a fight inside the box with zero wire organization. This one needed a going through anyway. Thanks again!
