Fatal Blob of Doom!

Last night, my printer suffered a fatal blob on a particularly long overnight PETG print.  Miraculously I got most of the material off the head/extruder assembly and spliced the one wire that was compromised so that the printer would respond to axis move commands and heat the head to remove some of the blob.  The result is that electrically at the moment the printer is fine but until I repair the extruder/head body pieces that perished in the blob I will be unable to print.  I was able to locate the assembly manuals as well as the printable part archives but since I didn't build this from a kit myself I will admit I am unsure as to which parts I need to print to be able to repair the unit.  I am also open to installing upgrades or replacing other parts while I have it torn down, so feel free to offer that up if it will be an easier way to repair.  I have access to a neighbor with multiple printers to print replacement parts once I am able to identify them.
