Changing to .25 nozzle Slic3r

Hello,

I wanted to try using .25 nozzle but changing the size at extruder in printer settings from .4 to .25 seems to not be the way to do that. I think I am getting a message saying it cannot be sliced because the nozzle diameter value is invalid.

Does anybody know what the problem is and what I was supposed to do so it doesn't happen?

Thank you

You need to set valid extrusion widths under print settings as well as changing the extruder diameter under printing settings. Hint: if you create a print settings profile with extrusions widths to 0, it will calculate valid extrusion widths at slicing time.

I've got notes on creating Slic3rPE profiles for different nozzles

Thank you. That is helpful because free time when I am not working is rare. It looks like you gave me exactly what I need to know.
