"Calibration failed - check the axes and try again" MK3/S+, SOLVED

I didn't see this problem for MK3/S and neither the solution, so I post this here. I assembled the MK3/S/+ and used the calibration wizard. I received the following error message: "Calibration failed - check the axes and try again".

I contacted support and was told to check belt tension:

Initial belt tension: x: 241--> 237 y: 250-->259

Support: Try to loose the X axis belt slightly, the 241 is on the edge, but 237 will cause the error.

I removed the extruder plate to reach the x belt and loosened it a little bit. New belt tension: x: 237-249, y: 259-260 (didn't touch y belt, don't know why values changed).

Started the wizard again and the error message was gone.

The belt tension figure is a measure of the resistance felt by the stepper when moving the axis. On a correctly set up machine this does equate, roughly, to belt tension.

Make your next print this:

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/46639-tension-meter-for-the-gt2-belts-of-i3-mk3s-or-prus

It MUST be printed in Prusament PETG or the spring tension will be wrong.

Cheerio,

Now that my printer works I can print one of those 😊 Thanks!
