Bad Layer shifting in i3 mk3s. right is first print, left is second AFTER belt tightening.

Running latest firmware, 3.7.2. hatbox pla. .20 with 25% infill. using prusa slicer 2. belts feel tight and are within acceptable range according to settings numbers. after i tightened belt i reran xyz calibration, heat calibration, cleaned bed with acetone. Can't figure it out.

Y axis layer shift. Any help is very welcome at this point as my 1/4 priced ender 3 is printing better at this point...

try with crash detection off - there is a known issue with over sensitivity to Y crashes

depending on precision of printer's (ziptie) assembly, crash detection could be a problem, thats why i never used crash detection "on" since i'm printing miles of different filaments without any problems.
