Trimming A Replacement PTFE Tube

I left the following question there but I think I won't get an answer for quite a while so I'm reposting my question here:
I’m trying to make my own tube from a roll of PFTE. I can get a good concave end using a countersink, but the convex end is difficult. I tried holding that end against a rotary sander but can’t hold it steady enough and rotate it at the same time. The angle is uneven. So I tried chucking it in a drill and holding that end against sandpaper. The tube has a slight natural curvature to it (from being in a roll for so long) and I get an uneven angle again. So, I put a 5/64 drill bit inside the tube to hold it straight and tried again. Better but I can still see some unevenness. My question is, how critical is it that the convex end have a perfect angle all the way around?

have you tried sticking a 1/16 or 5/64 or 1.8mm drill up the inside of the PTFE to keep it straight?

When upgrading my MK3 to R3 I changed PTFE tubes as well.
Decided to make a jig for the job:

Besides the printed parts you will need a hobby knife with 9mm blade and a 60 degree center drill.
BTW your taper (chamfer) looks good 😀

Area51, thanks for your opinion on my chamfer. I'll proceed with the replacement with what I have (I did another and made it more even). And thanks for your tool set ... I'd print them out if I could and I'd use them if I knew what to do with them. 🙂
