Slicing files that create random motion. (not desired result)

I'm using Ubuntu and PrusaSlicer 2.1.0+linux64 and have an MK3s running 3.8.0-2684 and an MK2,5s running 3.8.1-2869.  I'm having the most strange problem.  If I slice and generate G-code, save it to SD card specifically for either printer, I will get random motion at some point in the print.  Usually right away.  An example would be a first layer printed 1.80mm above the surface.  Or a good first layer, and then the second layer is at the right height but the X and Y are just random points.  If I were to NOT slice again, and save the G-Code again over the first attempt, things may work.  I am waiting long enough for the file to write and am ejecting the SD card before removing it.  Has anyone else seen odd things like this happening?

I'm sure I will get some comments about running an older version on the MK3s.  There is a reason for that.  The MK3s will reset itself on start of print with the newest firmware.  I'm not sure if it's related to having Octoprint or not, but downrevving solved the problem.
