PETG petrol resistant

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me if PETG will withstand minor contact with with petrol ?

According to this and people responding to that threat, PETG is resistant to petrol.

 quick update, I left a part printed with Prusa PETG submerged in petrol for a week and there was no noticeable change. all measurements were normal, no breakdown occuring in the PETG

PET and Gasoline just ignore each other.  Containers printed in PETG should not be used for Gasoline because 3D prints (filament) are notorious leakers - you don't want to leak gasoline in unexpected places.  But a Float made of PETG could be a reasonable application - you can live through a float sinking much better than gasoline leaking into unexpected places.

thank you for that info, I am not using it for storage purposes, I need a spacer between two parts that will have a minor amount of petrol exposure. To properly test it I submerged the printed part in petrol for a week. This was a severe test compared to the exposure of petrol.
