MMU2S to MK3S

I "upgraded" my MK3S to MMU2S.  The MMU is way more trouble than it's worth, and I don't really need to do a lot of multi-material work.  I want to remove the MMU and convert my machine back to the MK3S configuration and wait for Prusa to fix the MMU problems and issue and upgrade kit.

Does anybody have a step by step process for changing the extruder from the MMU2S configuration back to the MK3S.

RE: MMU2S to MK3S

I have literally just disconnected the power and data cables from mine and use the mk3s profiles.

RE: MMU2S to MK3S

The only issue I can think of (but I might not be thinking hard enough) of not changing the filament sensor from the MMU2S style to the MK3S style is with filament run-out sensing. Because the MMU2S style won't detect a filament runout until the last bit has left the bondtech hobbed gears, there may not be enough left to grab to eject the last bit. With the MK3S style of filament detection the end of filament will be detected while the bondtech hobbed gears are still engaged with the last of the filament allowing that length to easily be ejected out the top of the extruder.

I, personally, haven't run into a filament run-out so I don't know how much of an issue this might or might not be though.
