Strange banding artifact in print
Hi all,
I finished assembling my mk3 a few days ago and have started some test printing but I am getting a strange blobbing/banding artifact randomly. Please see pictures.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? The print is in ultrafine detail Slic3r, hatchbox pla.
Thanks!

Maybe a zipper line. Your start point is the same on each layer and little bit of ooze is deposited there. Maybe try random start points on each layer?

OP really needs to elaborate on what the specific issue being addressed. I originally thought it was a concern about the moire-type patterning, but now can see it might be that rough layer near the top (at right in pics).

Hammer-schmammer, what do they teach you kids these days?
All you need is a roll of duct tape and a can of WD-40.

Shows what you know. Duct tape and WD-40 are for AFTER the hammer.

P.S. I still drop a bit of Marvel's Mystery Oil in my carburetor to keep my engine de-gunked and a drop of lemon juice in the battery if its acting a little sluggish.
