Problems printing a Prusa Part (x-carriage)

Hi, I'm new to using a Prusa, and Ive been running into a problem. I had a question concerning a certain part of the Prusa Mk3. When assembling the print, I broke the x-carriage, and have been attempting to print a new one, but have been running into a continuous problem. This was using PETG at about 250 c and bed at 85 c. The first layer was printing fine, but the second layer seemed to be rubbing against filament. I have tried increasing the layer height, but it was still doing it. But upon trying to print another object, it seems to not be having that issue. Is anyone else having an issue similar to this with specific prints? How do you recommend going about it? Thank You

I had problems like that as well.  I think you may have first layer issues, but I am pretty new to this as well.  I suggest you read and try the suggestions in https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/

Good luck.
