Printer do not turn on any more
Good morning all,
I have printed yersterday and everything was ok so far. I had in the passt some issues with first layer but the last prints went good.
Some minutes a go I like to print my new created object from yesterday and now the printer do not turn on any more.
That means:
- No display (do not turn on)
- No light at back switch (do not turn on)
- Not reachable via octoprint (seems to be complete dead)
- I check if power is comming from the wall, and yes there is no problem at all
What I can do next ? I buy the full assambled printer cause I don't like to do some hardware stuff. I just like to USE it.
BR,
Thomas
RE: Printer do not turn on any more
Connect it via usb to PC and see if it is discovered. If not maybe check fuses in the box, it opens with one screw.
RE: Printer do not turn on any more
@b3-marek thanks for help! I try to connect printer to PC direct with no luck. I also check all three fusen, all of them looks good for me, non of them is blown.
What could I do next ?
BR,
Thomas

Check step 37 if nothing disconnected or came loose. Check LCD ribbon cables etc
RE: Printer do not turn on any more
My problem was the power cord was not fully inserted into the PSU. That is a tight fit...
RE: Printer do not turn on any more
Check also if the cables going into PSU are also connected.

As I said, not light showing if turn on the swtich. I think this should always work right? Hm 😐
RE: Printer do not turn on any more
If it were me - I would disconnect the + and - leads that go to the heated bed. See if the Einsy powers up. Looking for a short that may have crowbarred the supply.
