First layer calibration - blob and crunching sounds

I had to exchange the heat-bed last weekend and performed a launch test - no problem. I did not do a config-wizard.

Then I made the first layer calibration and it worked very well with a 0.8 axis tune. I wanted then to make a third test - then the problems started. The 9 point calibration ran and the nozzle returned nicely to point-zero. The filament then loaded and I saw just a huge blob squishing out from the nozzle, making a little blob around it. Obviously the crunching sound started, because of the filament just pushed through, meeting unexpected resistance. Ok, unloading filament worked (phew, had my fears there).

From now on, even resetting and powering down did not help, always the same problem.

Any thoughts?

RE: First layer calibration - blob and crunching sounds

Start with self test and do a full calibration. Something changed...

Crunching sounds are never good, and may be the nozzle hitting the surface.
