Nozzle too high
hello after i had installed my mk3 s i let the test print go through. the filament was not pressed onto the bed but from a distance of about 1mm the nozzle was just dropped and pulled behind
I set the pinda probe to cable tie thickness as in the instructions while at the same time contacting the nozzle with the bed without a magnetic plate.
since the live z nozzle can only be adjusted in the minus range, I don't know how to adjust the nozzle closer to the heating bed.
maybe the pinda probe has an error ??

RE: Nozzle too high

The more negative Z is, the closer the nozzle is to the plate.

Most people - and most plates - seem to wind up in the range of -.500 to -1.000.

If you are playing around with adjustments, put a piece of paper on your print plate. You don't want to scratch it.

On the LCD screen there is a menu item "live z-adjust" where you can adjust the height until the distance to the PEI sheet fits.

This point is discussed a lot in the forum:

Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.
