New MK3 calibration issue

I made it through the initial test and started the calibration. Each time the z axis goes up about an inch goes back down to the bead and stops with an error message that calibration failed. I can run the z axis up to the top and run the z calibration and it works. if i run it from the bed it goes up about an inch and stops. I have tried everything i can think of and nothing works.

its pretty sensitive during calibration and slightest binding or misalignment will cause it to fail.

check the tension on your trap nuts for a start. I personally leave them slightly loose and then hand-tight after maxing out the z height by hand.

Re: New MK3 calibration issue

I will check the trap nut tomorrow. Other information i have updated the firmware to the latest copy. If i run just the z calibration it works, and i can perform a mesh bed leveling and it works. I can print. I just cannot perform a xyz calibration.

Re: New MK3 calibration issue

I just got through with a chat with customer support and the problem was the PINDA probe. The probe tested good but was giving different answers when detecting head height. New probe on the way.
