MK3S+ Preflight Check SuperPINDA Adjustment

Hello everyone,

So I’m on chapter 9 of my first Prusa MK3S+ assembly and I’m stuck on the part where your moving the extruder from left to right and turning the Z axis rods to bring the nozzle closer or further away from the bed. My right side bed is higher than my left side, but I can get it pretty close. But when I go to move the extruder to the middle as it moves toward the back of the hot bed the nozzle gets closer until it finally connects around the direct center of the hotbed.

I took the hotbed off and redid the screws and spacers but still it’s connecting when I move it back. When I took it apart I did notice that the plastic parts that keep the y belt in place do block the center screw hole so it might keep the screw from not going in all the way? But it’s screwed in about the same as all the other screws. Also I do not have the steel sheet on per directions.

If anyone could give me any advice on this I’d really appreciate it.

It sounds like there might be a misconstruction, please show us a picture of the Y axis assembly.

Cheerio,

Nothing leaps to the eye there.  Check whether your smooth rods have bedded in place evenly.
