First layer calibration not going well. How do i fix how warped my print surface is?

As you can see my bed appears to be extremely uneven. Layers towards the outside are barely sticking, and layers in the center are squished so far they almost arent there. I have tried mesh bed leveling and bed level correction with no luck. Placing paper under the edges helped, but it took almost 5 sheets to fix it, and I would prefer an actual fix. Starting to get desperate.

Update, I turned on 7x7 Bed Leveling and it works great now. https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/mesh-bed-leveling_112163

creakesiv,

Congratulations on getting to this point.  Now to really fine-tune your first layer I (and most of the folks much smarter than I about these printers) would strongly recommend that you follow the process outlined in this monster thread.

https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/life-adjust-z-my-way/

You only need read the first post but I think you will find that the process outlined allows much more accurate adjustment of the first layer live-Z value.  A little more time spent here will lead to a much happier place down the road due to far more reliable bed adhesion.

Regards,

Steve
