Filament will not load
Brand new kit machine. Cannot be plugged up, never had filament in it. Filament will not feed. I cut the end on an angle, nothing happens. No error messages telling me something is wrong. Can I take this somewhere in the USA to have it worked on ?
Do you have a multimeter? If so check the dc voltages arriving at the einsy board.
What happens when you switch on?
Do any lights glow? Does the screen light up?
Do any fans turn?

Er, probably. Does anyone in the US know?

Cheerio,
RE: Filament will not load
Do you have the menu set to ‘auto-load’ the filament?
Are you pre-heating the hotend?
Have you tested the filament sensor to insure it’s reading properly?
Cheers
RE: Filament will not load
Brand new kit, its on its shakedown cruise. The self-setup software cannot complete its own setup because it cannot get past this step.
RE: Filament will not load
Have you cut the end of the filament at 45 degrees? this helps to ease loading

RE: Filament will not load
First thing I tried.
RE: Filament will not load
Don't know if this will help, but I've just built mine and was having similar troubles. Turned out I'd put the Bondtech cog, the one on the flap in the wrong way round
RE: Filament will not load
That did the trick. Thanx.
