Filament not recognized (any more?)

Hi all - I've a begginners problem.

I finished assembling my MK3S+ yesterday.
Today I started with the calibration of the first layer. I'd say about 5 rounds until I was happy.

Then started to print the Prusa demo logo. But this did not work:
After checking the 9 points on the plate the printer told me to remove the filament - did so, to enter it again - did so, some of the filament was already running through it.
Then again it told me again, to remove it, to re enter it, ...

I tried it with other models - same pattern.

I tried the calibration of the first layer again (as this worked before).
But this time I cannot get it running at all - it says to enter the filament although it's already in.

Has somebody an idea what to do?
- Something I can do? Clean the nozzle (if I can do that)?
- Or better to call the Prusa support?

Thanks a lot for comments/suggestions

Tom

Hello and welcome to the Prusaforum!

Probably the extruder IR sensor is not adjusted correctly. You can check this by deactivating the IR sensor on the LCD and restarting a print. If this works without errors, you know what the problem is.

Hi Karl.

Thanks for the hint.

Now the first layer calibration and Prusa logo worked.

So I can use the printer but will look what's the problem with the IR sensor.
