Extruder Assembly, Gears do not line up.

I am assembling my extruder mks3+ kit.  The filament gear is 100% lined up with holes and hotend tube but the door and its gear does not line up with the internal gear.  Is the gear on the door supposed to line up perfectly with the internal gear?  I know most extruders use a bearing for the idler but it is only off by 5mm so it seems odd that it does not line up.  You can "sort-of" see it in the picture below.

Thanks for any help!

The idler door and the idler gear have themselves a slight tolerance play (left-right), but their placement is "one-way", so it should be fine.

Re-check the instructions just to be sure 😉

I'm not an expert. Ma parlo anche italiano 😉

They should line up while printing.

@antonio-da-catania

Thanks, it is helpful to know they should be very close to lining up. (within tolerance)
