Crashed boot loader that broke the USB stick

Just finished upgrade yesterday from MK3S+ to MK3.9 (updated to latest firmware, 6.1.3, I think) and successfully printed a bunch of Benchys and went to bed happy.  Today turned on printer and it crashed while loading boot loader.  I answered yes to saving the crash data on USB and now the USB stick no longer mounts on either the printer or my Mac.  So, I need to replace the USB stick and load any necessary software that was on it.  How do I do that?

Nothing but crickets.  I tossed the Prusa USB stick in the trash and bought a new one.  I don't know what files were shipped with the original so I just put my g-code files on the new one.  It's up and running.  I suspect the crash may have been static discharge to the (ungrounded) flex steel print plate.  I added a ground wire to one of the screws at the back of the hot plate and took a little paint off the print plate.

The only other issue I have found (apparently others have too) is iPhone Safari can't remember the password for PrusaLink so it becomes pretty useless to check on print status.  Otherwise the printer is running ok.

iPhone Safari can't remember the password for PrusaLink

There's an app, 'PrusaLinkiOS', that overcomes this issue. The github repo is here, but install it from the App Store

Nothing but crickets.

Because you asked how to format a USB drive on MacOS - nothing to do with 3D printing; ask on an Apple forum.

And there isn't any software on it as supplied, just a few sample print files in case newbies have nothing to print on day one.  Most experienced users will delete them unopened but if you want them they are available on:

Diem, I actually didn't ask how to format a USB drive on my Mac.  I thought Prusa would like to know what happened when it crashed and took out the drive.  The drive could not for formatted on either Mac or Windows so I trashed it.  I didn't know what files shipped with it so I asked the question to see if there was anything loaded on it that was critical and you answered that question, thanks.

If it won't reformat simply, delete and remake the partition (aka low-level format) - USB can sometimes lose a segment within the partition table.
