Where to buy d-Limonene in Germany ?
Hi Folks,
Any recommendations on where I can buy d-Limonene in Germany ? This is for replacing the PEI sheet.
Also, does anyone know if this is safe to carry in the check in baggage of an international flight ?
Background : This is very hard to source in India. I am on a short visit to Germany (Frankfurt/Nuremburg) for a week, and am looking to see if I can buy it there & get it back with me

Vorher kucken obs von auswaerts kommt, dann geht's ueber den Zoll und da bekommt man kraeftig was draufgeschlagen.
Von den Comments auf Youtube gehts aber auch ohne D-Limonene, mit etwas kraft und geschick gets auch bei 60 Grad abzuziehen.

People have suggested Turpentine as a replacement for D Limonene, in case that's easier to find for you.

I don't think it would be safe to carry on a plane; I believe it is labelled as "Hazardous" and would have to be declared and possibly confiscated.

Just get plain isopropyl alcohol! It's dirt cheap, i bought a 10 liter can for ~10€ on ebay. You should be able to get that pretty much anywhere in the world.

IPA will not dissolve the glue under the PEI...

@gabriele.s2 : Thanks for the tip. I haven't been active on the forums for quite some time. I see there is some thread mentioning this, also reports of various sites about this!
I can get loads of turpentine here at paint shop at a low cost. Will experiment with turpentine after I come back from Germany, then!

i'm pretty sure that you'll get all the attention that you (don't) want, if you'll try to take a bottle of chemicals in your cabin baggage aboard a plane here in germany.
