Slicer problems

I designed a phone case on inventor for my phone and it is drawn properly and to scale but every time i put it in any slicer it is very small a few mm long when it is supposed to be more like six inches. I have tried Slicer3d Prusa edition, Cura and they both have the same problem. Can anyone help me out?

Re: Slicer problems

what software are you using to draw it?
Are you drawing the case in Inch or mm?
Most slicer import metric so for an example if you draw it in say 6 inch long it will convert to 6mm long.
most software can convert inch to mm or vise versa.

Re: Slicer problems

If you've modeled in inches and need to scale to mm, you could scale your model in slic3r to 2540 %.

Re: Slicer problems

Inventor exports in mm by default.
Click on File->export to CAD format->select .STL as file type then select Options->Units->Inches

RE: Slicer problems

If you put it in on any slicer it is very small a few mm long. So, check its mm length when it is supposed to be more like six inches is correct or not.
