I printed a model (in PLA) with a large base (large surface area). According to Prusa's instructions, I should use a putty knife or floss to remove the object. Well neither of those worked. So I attempted to heat up the print bed to ~100 deg C, and with a combination of wiggling the model and using the putty knife, the model final came off the print bed.
But now I have a problem. My print bed has never performed the same again. I believe I may have damaged it during removal, somehow, because some areas of the bed are hotter than others when preheated, and I believe the print bed is now warped (after several V2 Calibrations that show bed inconsistencies).

I have 2 questions:
1. How can you remove large surface area prints EASILY without damaging - or risking damage to - the print bed? (Can you use Krypton tape / painter's tape on top of the PEI?)
2. Where can I buy an authentic/genuine print bed replacement for my MK2 (preferable with PEI installed)?

first let's leave "krypton" inside the group of noble gases at the periodic table, you probably mean kapton tape.
then: you can buy a new printbed directly from prusa. but first you have to chat with them, so that they grant you access to the prusa spare-parts section at the shop.
before you have a look at the price and want to order a replacement, i recommend to sit down first.

messing around with a stuck print and a heated up printbed at 100°C will certainly be no good idea and could easily damage the bed.

for the future, have a look at this thread, it recommends a good way for prints with pla.
furthermore adding "mouse-ears" to the printed object will give you the chance to get under the print with a very thin spatula or thin cutter knife.
