Will a SuperPINDA work on an MK2S?
Good Morning All,
I recently changed my nozzle on my Prusa MK2S and when I started to do the recalibration, the PINDA sensor couldn't find the second bed sensor, so I looked at the nozzle and reseated. I then tried to run the Z calibration again and it found the bed sensors but it pushes the 3 sensors in the middle of the bed down as if it can not find the sensors.
I checked the bed it is not warped (I checked by using a metal square and then used a light behind it) then I figured maybe the PINDA measurement was off so lowered the print head to the ben and used the zip tie to measure the bed distance and the zip tie was snug. SO I lowered the PINDA anyway and got the same issue. I reseated the PINDA connection then tried the ENDSTOPs and it goes from 0 to 1 when I placed a pair of pliers against it and same thing.
I then did a factory rest to see if that would help and and now able to get through the Z calibration but the XYZ fails on the second iteration of the 2nd sensor.
I am making an assumption of the PINDA going bad - could it be the magnets in the bed? If it is the PINDA - will a SuperPINDA work in a MK2S?
Thank you for your help in advance.
Hmm
I do to recollect anyone mentioning this before. I would contact the eshop chat and ask the question live before purchasing.
