MAXTEMP on MK2s

Hi, I just assembled a new V6 E3D hotend on my MK2s, and as soon as I turned on the printer, the nozzle temp read was 732 but at the same time, it was cold. I tried a couple of spare thermistors that I had but it reads 287 while cold as well. I checked all connections on the board, removed all zip ties, and made sure the thermistor cable is not bent. I can't seem to find the problem here.. Any suggestions?

Then I would check the thermistor with a multimeter. At room temperature. (about 25degrees C.) the internal resistance should be about 100kohms.

Not sure - but isn't polarity also important - have no possibility to check this at the moment,

Polarity is not important when measuring the internal resistance, as well as the connection of the heating cartridge (resistance about 3.6 ohms), which in principle also represents a resistance.

I measured the thermistor and it was about 120k ohm on 28c˚ room temp. Also when I take the thermistor from the board it gives me a reading of 20c˚. Is this a problem with the board? because I tried 2 extra new E3D thermistors that gave me the same reading. Even though, the printer was working fine before I replaced the hotend.
