Has anyone used a smoother on a Prusa 3MK2S printer?
It is an electronic device that plugs in between your printer computer board and your stepper motors.
It supposed to make your print surface smooth.

No, i use a MKS Gen 1.4 board with TMC2100 drivers + https://github.com/cimoalpacino/Prusa-Firmware/tree/MK2S_3.9.0_RAMPS
Should be the better upgrade because you also get Linear advance 1.5 ...

Firstly you need to have your mechanics sorted out. I have A4988 drvers...they are loud, but apart from a small amount of ringing, my prints come out great.
I use Arduino+RAMPS + Prusa fw 3.9.0 that I modified to fit my setup (inverted endstops, pinda V1 and slightly different x/y/z offsets).
