If nothing is touching the endstop before the carriage hits it then you may need to move your frame a bit. Did you attach the power supply bracket onto the rods in the right direction? The spacing appears to be off by enough for that to potentially be the problem.

Didnt anybody notice he said at the start that his PINDA is all the way DOWN?

Raise it to about 1-1.5mm ABOVE the level of the tip of the nozzle. No wonder the nozzle is slamming into the bed.

Details guys.

Nozzle ----> V U <---- PINDA needs to sit 1-1.5mm HIGHER than the Tip.

Yeah, its that guy... 3D Nexus

Yes, but on the video the Y axis doesnt go far enough back before being tripped.

The end of the story --

As it turns out, the PINDA was fine. The y-axis needed to move about -7mm in order for the calibration points to be where the software was expecting them to be. This put the z-axis about 107mm from the y corners. Now calibration works fine. Thanks for all the tips. Learned a lot about this stuff!

I have had the same problem forever! Thank you for your video and all your explanations. How did you determine that the Y needed to come down -7? Was it just a trial and error until you got it right?

Did you go to Calibration > bed leveling correction to toggle your Y-axis?
