Prusa Mini+ switch cable

Hi,

Trying to move the on/off switch for the Mini+ to the front. What cables should I be using for this and where can I get these cables?

Thanks,

Hi!

Welcome to the MK2.5 / MK2.5s forum.

As the MINI uses an external power supply, the power switch is probably 24V low voltage and therefore relatively safe to handle, however the current will be relatively high so wire diameter and connection integrity is more important.  Probably American Wire Gauge 16  (1.5mm2 ) will be fine for a 24v / 160w system. Part of an old extension cord would probably be ok. The crimp on spade terminals might be easily obtainable at an auto parts store(6.3mm), or might be a special size like 4.75mm or 5.0mm which you could find online at electronics suppliers  Digikey or Mouser.
