Problems loading and unloading thread | MK3S Kit

I just got my kit for the Original Prusa i3 MK3S and when I try to load and unload the thread, the extruder wont stop moving even after the thread is ready. Is there maybe a problem with the sensor or is there something im doing wrong?

It sounds like the filament sensor is misbehaving.

The first thing I would check is to be sure it gives you definite 1 and 0 readouts with and without the filament present.

This article discusses the filament sensor and how to test it.

https://www.help.prusa3d.com/en/article/ir-filament-sensor-troubleshooting-mk2-5s-mk3s_112231

The 1 or 0 test is maybe 3/4 of the way down the page.

Ok it looks like the sensor is reading correctly but the heat wont go down after it has finished unloading the wire
