"GCode Sliced for a different printer" no matter what I do.

So I have an MK3S and MMU2S printer and when I send prints to it via Prusa Slicer via the "Send to Printer" button, I always get the "GCode Sliced for a different printer".

What places are these defined and checked and how can I clear it up?

In PrusaConnect it says "Type: Original Prusa i3 MK3S/+" and perhaps that is the mismatch, but how do I change it in there to get all the settings in sync?

I know it's not the biggest deal, but it's driving me a little bonkers.

Sometimes a result of clumsy editing of the start code in a printer preset - sometimes caused by loading the wrong firmware or by not loading the correct firmware to match a physical upgrade ...

At the start of the G-code file, derived from the Printers > Custom G-code > Start G-code section are some M862 model checks - if the firmware doesn't correspond with the model declared it will throw the fault.

Cheerio,

Cheerio,

Thanks, but how do I get them to match so it doesn't have the error?

Its a safety function, so install the correct printer profile that matches the machine firmware you have installed.  If its giving you the error then either you have the wrong firmware installed on your printer or you have installed/selected the wrong printer profile in the slicer.  One of them is wrong, we cant tell which, only you can.

From your initial description it sounds like you need to Run the profile wizard again and make sure you install the correct one, not a Mk3S but the one with the MMU.
