Trying to send gcode from Prusaslicer to Prusalink on XL 5 tool head
So I have been putting my XL trough it' s paces the last 2 weeks. In general all good. The anti dribble silicone pads were a pain to get right but are now functioning well. Even printed a complex part out of PLA with PETG supports and other than some blobs to clean up it worked fantastic.
The one issue is I can slice gcode on Pursalicert 2.7.1 and connect to the printer via a web interface on chrome and download/start a print from there.
I followed all the steps to set up the printer as per the instructions to allow prusaslicer to print directly to the printer. I am unable to connect using the user name and password or the API key....

Update.....
When I browse my network for the printer it does not show up. The printers on raspberry Pi do though.....
Is there a setting on the printer I need to change?
What am I doing wrong? I have read so many of the posts on the forums and I just can't figure it out.
XL is updated with the newest firmware.

Hi, the auto discovery feature is unfortunately not implemented ot he 32bit FW (yet?) you will have to fint the printer's IP (settings -> network -> wifi/ethernet) or something like that, going off memmory. Just put that as the address in PrusaSlicer physical printer setup window. Hope this helps

Correct, that was all entered in the printer setup file with the http user name and password. I get a timed out error.
I’m just confused why I can connect via browser but the slicer won’t connect. It works with raspberry pi….
I’m not sure if there is a setting I’m missing.

Do you have PrusaLink selected? Or did you accidentally select Prusa Connect? Can you DM me a screenshot of the physical printer setup window? I really do not know why would that not work.

Well, I’m an idiot and I entered the web address wrong, 190.xxx.xxx.xxx rather than 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
shout out to Tojik on seeing that….
Never noticed that detail after trying things dozens of times.
