Best RPi model for future "functions"

Hello, currently I am using for testing Prusa-Link on the highest model of RPi4B (with 8 GB RAM) from my other project. But I must bring it back to "main project" so I am thinking about what model of RPi to buy.

I dont want RPi zero, especially for missing ethernet port. So I am deciding between RPi 3B(+) or 4B(1/2/4/8GB RAM).

Will be the RPI 3B(+) sufficient for future "functions" (such as camera etc..) or it better to buy straight RPi4B(1/2/4/8GB RAM)?

Thank you verry much!

Hi, you'll be fine with the 3B(+) It's basically the zero 2 with more ram and extra I/O

I doubt we'll do any extra features for the big Pis. You might be able to get away with running more printers off of a single beefier pi in the future, but that's about it i think
