2 questions, both driven by IS upgrade
Before I start, yes I have searched as much as possible and I can't find solutions to this problem. Okay so I recently realized I've been running my machine without Input Shaper and that made sense why it printed decently but was so slow. I had a few problems here and there but nothing major. Now that I'm running Input Shaper, everything is wrong.
Problem #1; It seems like the hotend can't keep up with the feed speeds even with the temperature adjustment in the filament profiles. I'm getting solidified filament in the nozzle constantly.
Problem #2; supports absolutely WILL NOT come off and are ruining prints. I've tried snug, grid, and organic, they all ruin prints.
It seems like the hotend needs to run even hotter or else everything else needs to slow down, but how do I know which? Is there some sort of chart to tell me what happened when a bad print happens so I know what to adjust and which direction to adjust it?
Also how do I know what parameters do what regarding supports? I know the program is capable because a buddy used his MK4 to print something that I was having issues with and printed it with the same filament I have, and not only did it print better than mine ever has, the supports just about fell off and there was no marks on the part where you could tell where the supports had been. It was everything I hoped this machine would be, and he ran it with the generic filament and support profiles in the Slicer, nothing specific for the filament manufacturer.
The filaments I have been trying (Overture and SUNLU) don't have preset profiles in the PrusaSlicer to go from so I've been running the "Generic PLA" and "Generic PET" programs for the PLA and PETG I'm using and then trying to adjust parameters to make it work but it's not going well and I'm starting to get the feeling that IF I ever get it right, I will have run out of the $200+ of filament I paid for and that really sucks.
So, does anyone have any tips for me before I lose my mind and give up the machine? FWIW, I have the latest updates on the machine and the Slicer. thanks in advance for any help you can give me! I know Prusa makes awesome machines, I just need to figure out how to make it work before I just quit and donate it and be done with 3d printing! Cheers!

0. Did you update print profiles which are tuned for Input Shaper?
1. sometimes you need to bump temperature much higher than recommended values to make it melt.
I recommend this https://www.printables.com/model/61996-nano-all-in-one-3d-printer-test - print without supports and tune it per filament brand
Try with much higher temperature than default temperature for given filament (like +30C so if the recommended temperature is 200C try with 230C) and then go down every 10 C to see when it starts to print good/bad and then try find mid point and fine-tune by +-5 C.

I did not have good luck with either Overture or Sunlu PETG even without Input Shaper. I have had good luck with Prusament and Hatchbox PETG, at 250-260. I also had to adjust the extruder tension and calibrate for IS. See this thread:
Seams still have problems but results otherwise are pretty good.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did verify that the filament profiles have higher temps in the IS printer profile but it's still not enough. I'll keep trying higher temps until I figure it out.
I'm going to try those support settings again (I tried them with the non IS printer profile and it didn't help, but I'll try again with the IS printer profile.)

Man that's a bummer, I really don't want to have lost all of this filament because a particular brand isn't supported. It's not like I bought random unknown filament, I wish there was support for these fairly popular filament manufacturers from Prusa. Thanks for the input!

The Mini has always been picky compared to other printers. I only buy one roll of any brand and type of filament to try first before buying more.

Ugh, wish I knew that before I bought all that. I saw a good deal and thought I'd take advantage of it. Turns out I just took advantage of myself LOL
