Where can I get these parts?

Folks, does anyone knows the specifications, and where can I get these parts, please?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
I was very excited when my Mini finally arrived (about 1 month), but it has been a headache trying to fix it and have some prints successful.
I'll not lie that it has been a nightmare so far. And I think that's my last try to get this fixed before I toss my mini away.
So far, I could print with PETG and ABS, but I could hardly get any PLA printed okay so far.

Below is a photo with the parts I'm referring to, along with some notes. The bolt's nut is not coming out, and even now, I still couldn't manage to remove it.

I could find everything in Prusa store aside from the bolt.
Does anyone know how to get these parts?

RE: Where can I get these parts?

Hi Vinicius
I don't have access to a mini,

I suspect the screw is an M3 x40 mm Stainless cap head screw    and the nut is probably a 'thin' M3 square nut

I believe you can get these from McMaster Carr...

I get my supplies from Ebay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M3-3mm-A2-STAINLESS-STEEL-SOCKET-CAP-SCREWS-BOLTS-WITH-ALLEN-KEY-HEX-HEAD/200832008647?var=500110069044&hash=item2ec28541c7:g:53sAAOSw8eBdAh4C

I just chose two links that would get you useful descriptions for the parts,  can you measure the screw length from under the head to the end, to check it's size...

you should be able to get the printable parts from this page...
https://www.prusa3d.com/prusa-i3-printable-parts/

Can you print replacement parts? If not maybe ask for help... tell people which area you are in, you never know there may be another user next door, or down the road.
Or look for a Maker space, or Hack space, or maybe a public library with a printer...

regards Joan

RE: Where can I get these parts?

If you access the web chat (from the e-store page) I'm sure support will be able to help you. They may even send you the replacement parts.

The BOM here https://github.com/prusa3d/Original-Prusa-MINI/blob/master/BOM/E-AXIS.md confirms Joan's suggestion of the bolt size.

I'd also suggest that you post again when you've got the extruder rebuilt about the issues you are having, someone will be able to offer some advice,  don't give up on the mini it has some issues but it's a great printer when you get it tuned.😀

Hi Joantabb and Gordon-w !

I just came here to say thank you for the answers and all the provided links and advice! : )

I have another 3d printer, a resin one, which I could print the parts I needed. One of them didn't come out "healthy," but the extra one I put on the same batch seems to be in good shape.  I took advantage of the printable parts package zip and printed an extra piece for my X-axis, which is slightly skewed(I'll try first to fix with the original one, and if it doesn't work, I'll try to install the new one that I printed). If none of them fits/works them, I'll search for someone nearby or the help chat or even the spare parts on Prusa's shop.

For the screw and nut, thank you so much for the link and references; it was the M3-40.  I went to a local store but no success in finding it. Finally, I decided to buy on eBay, but it will take a good time to get here, I believe, probably one or two months. So yeah, It will take some time until you guys hear back from me.... but hopefully, everything will work out.  😀

RE: Where can I get these parts?

@vinicius

excellent news,
Shame about the delay for parts, are there no suppliers closer? (I don't know your location)

just a thought, did you get a spares bag with your printer? are there spare screws in that?

Have you considered asking for help? anyone who has done a Mk3 to Mk3S upgrade should have a spare M3x40 screw from the extruder idler door...

You never know unless you ask!

regards Joan

@Joanntabb You're my hero! If it was not you saying to check the spare parts bag, I would be waiting for the m3x40 until now, LOL. Shame on me!
My location is Toronto, Canada. I could find some sellers from USA, but what was killing was the shipping costs , around 15USD if I'm not mistaken.

I'm happy that I could put everything together and every part fitted perfectly!
I know it's not trendiest colors ever, but I thought is kinda cute how it's looking right now.

Now my mini is extruding PLA with no problems! 😎 Thank you for all help!
I'm just facing some problems with bed adhesion(the spaghetti things) on my textured steel sheet, also the skewed x-axis. Which I'm planing to get solved today. I'll take a look in some Prusa's articles and searching some topics here on the forum as well.

Guess this case is closed 🙂   Thank you so much!

@vinicius

I am glad you have solved most your issues! The prints look nice. Do you have the PEI sheet? The textured sheet can be slightly challenging for PLA. I use my textured sheet for PETG and a PEI sheet for PLA.

Also, have you washed your textured sheet with soapy water yet? Using dish soap and some warm water and just my hand, I gave my textured sheet a nice bath and then rinsed it off and dried it well. This will get rid of any residues that alcohol may struggle with.

RE: Where can I get these parts?

Hey @mark-14

Thanks for the tip! I Have the PEI sheet and prints stick to that like hell LOL!  My thing with the textured sheet is that I love the texture that it gives to the prints. I'm super stubborn in getting things the way I like or want it, so I never wanted to give up printing PLA on my steel sheet, even if it's not the ideal scenario.
I cleaned with alcohol countless times and recalibrated the distance between the nozzle and bed as well but with no success.  A few days ago, I tried to clean it with soap and warm water, and as you said, it improved the adherence.  But close to the end, my prints were still failing : (.
Then the solution that I found(in one of Prusa's articles), and it's working pretty damn good it's to apply a thin coat of stick glue. And since then I never had a print that failed due to adhesion.  😀
