Stop asking "Is this color correct?"

Hi,
When loading filament in a Prusa Mini, you typically know what color you feed it.
The filament-load process however asks me if the color is correct every time.
Quite often this blocks me from starting a print remotely.

Question: Is there a way to PREVENT the Prusa Mini from asking if the color is correct?

Thank you!
DJ

The usual reason for changing filament is either a colour change or a material change.  If changing to a contrasting filament it can take a while to purge the previous one - hence the colour change prompt, it avoids a pink streak in the first layer after changing from scarlet to white...

If you are loading filament you have to be present so I don't see how the prompt prevents remote control.

One might argue that this should probably say "Is filament loaded correctly?" but it's an obvious thing to ask to make sure there wasn't any problem during the loading process (as—for example—might be caused by a nozzle clog).

I'm with Diem, how would that prevent you from remote control? You do have to load filament manually after all.

Maybe I'm just a lucky person that never encountered a situation (100+ prints) where the filament was not loaded correctly. All the time I see the filament pour our thinking "Yes, that's the right color. I know what color I stuck in the feeder?".

As mentioned, the deeper meaning of the question could also be "does everything look ok, can we continue?".

About the remote printing: what typically happens is that I load filament and walk away. I then send a model to the printer ("upload & print") to find out that I did not wait for the printer to ask if the color was ok and answering the question. That sometimes seem to cause issues uploading a model.

Anyway, I have to show a bit more patience and wait for the filament to come out 🙂
Thanks for the comments!
