Sheet Profile on Mini
Is there a way to set up sheet profiles for the smooth and textured sheets on the Mini? I really enjoy this feature on the MK3S and got both sheets for the Mini hoping it would have the same functionality. Unless I'm missing something, is the only way to switch back and forth between them is establish your Z-Offset for both and manually change the value when switching between beds?

As of right now, yes, you have to manually set it every time. It will come in a future firmware update, I think.

I was just wondering the same. I just received my Mini with 2 sheets & was hoping there were sheet profiles, like for my MK3S. OK, for now I'll keep my settings in a notebook & change them manually.

On last firmware 4.2.0. still no profiles for sheets? Every changing sheet i must again and again manually calibrate Z level? Isnt user friendly. MK3S have this function from 3.8.0.

I can't believe this isn't a bigger issue to people, coming from the mk3s it's a HUGE pain to readjust instead of just choosing a different profile. I hate changing sheets on the mini!

It is a pain, but some of us remember manual bed leveling & non-heated beds. You had to level the bed manually with every print, just in case the room temperature changed.

Some of us have been 3D printing for 10+ years but all of this is irrelevant and anecdotal to a feature on an 8-bit board not being available on a 32-bit board from the same manufacturer.

Looking forward to this firmware upgrade now that I got my mini textured build plate. So much nicer for PETG printing 🙂

I saw a GitHub comment about 2 or 3 weeks ago that they were hoping to build a release candidate the same day but on the last live stream Jo said he'd asked for some changes to be made to one of the features which had delayed it. I do agree 31st Aug (4.2.1 released) seems like ages.

3y later we have profiles but cannot rename them. It bombs me out to look up every time which nozzle diameter (0.25, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 combined with PLA or PET or ABS) I linked to which of the standard named sheets and the corresponding z-offset. Is that so hard to implement or am I overlooking something?
