Prints freezing midway through, intermittent lcd artifacting, watchdog error after moving printer

The printer worked fine yesterday & this morning, and stopped working after I moved it to a different room.

It started randomly freezing in the middle of a print (stops moving and extruding, mostly), and occasionally even shows strange artifacting on the lcd display. It just popped up a watchdog error a few minutes ago. It occasionally also pops up a wifi module connection screen? Selftest comes up fine.

My theory is a bad usb or somehow corrupted firmware, but I currently don't have any others to test with (I'm using the one included with the printer, and don't want to aggravate the issue by flashing from a bad usb drive).

Can someone please confirm this, as I can't see how a bad usb would be correlated to moving the printer?

Forgot to add, I also already reformatted the usb, which seemed to help somewhat but still is crashing

That reads like a power supply issue - which might just be a loose internal connection; pull and reinsert all the plugs on the Einsy and make sure the power cable is firmly in place.

Or:

It might be a noisy mains supply.  If you are getting brownouts then it'll be fairly obvious but another cause might be other equipment on the same mains circuit putting electrical noise on the line; a big a/c or heater, a pump or a washing machine, anything with poorly suppressed motors.  As a start try selectively switching off other appliances to narrow the search.

Cheerio,

The power supply is fine, given moving it back fixed it. Noisy power might be right, though I started suspecting low temperature was the issue after moving it back.

I would first move the printer back to its former position and see if that changes anything. If magnetic fields really cause your symptoms than moving it back will show it.
