RE: lcd dispaly
Just to confirm that you are referring to a Prusa Mini panel, correct? That unit is new and I would think still under warranty. I'd try contacting Prusa support via online chat before ordering a replacement. Log into the online store and use the chat function.
I only see the board and case available directly from Prusa for about $54. It looks like you can order just the board for roughly $18 if you don't mind a clone from AliExpress. I haven't used this board myself, so can't speak to how well it functions.

RE: lcd dispaly
hi
the printer was bought used from a friend
i have spoke with online adviser and he just directed me to the £74 total price one
i ask if he could provide the part number for dial ssaid he would reach out to his colleages
to see if e could get the part number
if not will have to go via the china route (didnot want to do that but needs must)
thanks
RE: lcd dispaly
With a multimeter also check the flat cable.
If You feel confident on soldering the replacement part should be easier to find as it is a standard rotary encoder which is quite common in arduino projects, just look for "EC11 encoder".
Otherwise go for the replacement display. Please note that if You printed a display back cover, there are specific stl for clone.

RE: lcd dispaly
2 Years Later! I found a solution. I had a problem with my MK3S+ LCD display Rotary encoder. I would turn the dial one way and the system acted as if I moved both directions. I even contacted @Prusa3D and found out about it being an EC11 but there are multiple styles of EC11. I desoldered the encoder from the board and unbent the tabs on the bottom. There are no components to fall out so don't be too worried. I found out if I pulled up slightly on the contactors inside and regreased inside the component, everything now works fine. Also, I discovered the missing data, EC11 with 15mm plum handle.
RE: lcd dispaly
thanks for posting! Looks like it's the same for the prusa mini 🙂

Could you tell me which one you bought that worked well? There are so many and I don't want to get a crappy one.
