Hotend heater cartridge - thermal paste
Hello,
I'd like to ask you if I am supposed to use the thermal paste while inserting the hotend heater cartridge into the hotend heaterblock?
Thanks,
Michal

Processor thermal paste will go like concrete in the heat block
Slice engineering offer Boron Nitride Paste https://www.sliceengineering.com/products/boron-nitride-paste Its expensive and I have never used it.
I have used Copaslip antisieze on the nozzle threads (I always catch the first extrusion after changing the nozzles, in a tissue so that the coppaslip does not get on the build plate,
I expect you could use copaslip on the heater cartridge and thermistor cartridge
again, heat the hot end over a tissue pad, to ensure that nothing drips on the build plate
MOLYSLIP - COPASLIP | High Temperature Copper Anti-Seize Grease | Withstands Extreme Temperature (Up To 1100°C) | Protects Against Galling, Seizure Rust and Corrosion
available on Amazon, and in car spares shops

You should follow all these instructions precisely or results will not be satisfactory:
https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-heaterblock-heatbreak-mini-mini_122769
It includes the thermal paste usage instructions as well as the dimensions and torque specs that should be used while assembling.
