Filament sensor not working
I hooked up the filament sensor today and tried it but it didn’t work. The filament was at the end and well into the machine. I could still see it in the bowden tube but it was not sticking out of where it was fed in. The printer kept going but the filament was not being extruded anymore but it was still in the tube. I don’t know how to fix this or what I’m doing wrong. I can’t find any information on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you activated the filament sensor in the settings menu on the mini?

Or were you using Octoprint? The current firmware will not report filament runout to Octoprint.

Go to Settings, scroll down to Filamentsensor. There you can enable/disable the sonsor.
Under Info->Sensor Info you can monitor wether it is working.
