Does anybody else have the same problem and do you have a solution..?

Best regards

RE: Faulty mini

The printer restarts when the system board supply voltage drops. Or in case of a program error (watchdog). It can be a faulty wiring, a faulty power supply, or a faulty firmware.

It doesn't Come with any massage on the screen. I've chatted with the prusa support and followed their instruktions and they say that there are no loose wires 🤔

I mean the power lines to the printer. The voltage may fluctuate.

It doesn't Come with any massage on the screen.

Nothing can be displayed on the screen during restart.

I recommend measuring the 24V supply voltage with a memory oscilloscope.

RE: Faulty mini

Restarting the printer can be caused by:

1. button, it can be excluded

2. firmware error, can be reloaded

3. by a drop in the supply voltage

4. motherboard failure

The funny thing is that it will print some files but others just reboots it..?

I've tried the same files on my ender 3 and there it works ? 🤔

RE: Faulty mini

That is understandable. Another printer may not have the same problem.

Have you tried a different USB memory stick?

RE: Faulty mini

I have been experiencing the same problem for three days. I thought I reset the Mini to factory settings and since then the wizard also comes after switching on and aborts with a reboot.

If I do not run the wizard, then I can not print. At print start or when changing filament the printer crashes.

Wiring looks good.

If I heat the nozzle with the heat bed, then I can print.

I have updated firmware - without success.

Probably a motherboard failure. Contact support.

RE: Faulty mini

Can you attach the gcode file which makes your mini crashing?

RE: Faulty mini

I second the suggestion by @3dk to try a different USB flash thumb drive. I have been having gcode corrupted on the stick supplied with the printer which causes the printer to do strange things, including restart the bed leveling in the middle of a print. Plus, it's really easy to try this one - no oscilloscope needed.

RE:

@nnhdesign

1. Did you slice and positioned the stl file with PrusaSlicer and set for MINI - I suspect not, because printing the circle appeares not centred to the sheet?

2. Or did you print directly from gcode file you downloaded?

3. Does it fail all the time or only for specific .gcode files?

4. You did not provide any .stl nor gcode file to verify, the files are good for other MINI printer.
