Can I recover from a power failure

I have a Puusa Mini and am running with the latest 4.4.0 update.  I have a Bondtech Heatbreak and Bondtech Extruder.   I'm three quarters the way through a 24 hour print and we've had a power outage.  Power is back on, the print head has stopped in position mid layer,  and has cooled to room temperature.    Is it possible to somehow recover and resume the print?

No.

The Mini has no power loss recovery function like the Mk3S.

Now, you can try to patch the GCODE file to try and find the location where the print stopped, stitch it together with startup code that avoids hitting the previously printed part, and hope that the cooling down of the sheet hasn't allowed the model to move.

In my experience, this is a LOT more likely to fail than succeed. I'd write this off as a learning experience (get a UPS, which at least helps with short outages, probably not with anything extended) and start all over again. Less likely to cause aggravation 🙂

Thanks fushsr.   I am going to reslice the object which was relatively simple shape, cut it in PrusaSlicer at the level that it stopped and keep the upper half, and then print and glue the two halves together.   If it turns out to be rubbish, I'll call it a learning experience and reprint the whole job.

That's a sensible approach.
