RE: PrusaLink - Custom Username and Password

What do you mean I'm not a sysadmin. I am the only person using them. I am the sysadmin.
If you want to have a password for using the printer at all, which I find ridiculous, make it part of logging into prusa connect not accessing the printer. If you are worried about password security on the prusa website, that is an issue for prusa to deal with the end users should not be penalized for prusa's issue.

This is about PrusaLink though, not Prusa Connect. I imagine that many / most people who are using PrusaLink today over Prusa Connect are doing so because they don't have to connect to the internet in order to do so. Otherwise Prusa Connect is just plain better in every way compared to PrusaLink (at least imo, it was a while since I last used PrusaLink).

i am quite annoyed about this little detail. it is the same printer. why does the direct way of accessing it provide less functionality? and no, i'm not talking about print queues (not like it should be much work to implement). really not a fan of such strong pushes towards clouds where it is not needed
