Thermal Runaway/Print Fan orientation

When I try to run a print the printer lays down the first layer then goes into Thermal Runaway mode.

I was doing some maintenance on my Mini which resulted in the hot end resting at a lower position, I believe because of the new PTEF tube feeding it. Because of this, I believe the print fan is now blowing onto the heat block and causing the issue. Is there a way to lower the fan so that it doesn't blow on the heat block, or should I be trimming the PTEF tube so my hot end can rest higher? Picture attached to determine if the fan is positioned correctly or not.

I have also checked for damaged wires and have not found any. The printer will maintain a temp of 215 when I set the nozzle temp. The problem only occurs during printing.

Something else I just thought of, if I had the hotend heatbreak out of the heat sink could I have messed up the thermal paste and would replacing that be a potential solution?

TIA

Did you add new thermal paste? I am not sure old stuff will work as it may have dried out and won't fill the gaps like new stuff does. Follow Prusa's instructions for replacing the heatbreak:
