Gcode not compatible error
having just finished upggrading to 4s i have had numerous error messages thrown up by prusa slicer and the printer firmware I have managed to clear most of them but cannot get rid of "gcode not comppatible" which seems odd as it was sliced by prusaslicer! If i choose to override the warning and print anyway it prints fine. Has anaybody else this problem?
RE: Gcode not compatible error
I would assume this has to do with the selected printer profile or presets indicating Mk4 when the printer firmware is saying Mk4S. I would double check all of your slicer settings and make sure the presets and names of your physical printer have been updated. I didn't have a problem when I upgraded mine, but I DID get that message when I tried sending a model from Orca Slicer and assumed it was because there isn't yet an Mk4S profile there and the printer name remains Mk4. I somewhat wonder if this is a very simplistic printer name check for people with multiple types of Prusa's, and is simply to make sure you're not sending Mk4 jobs to a Mini, for example. This is just a guess though, as I haven't specifically tested this.
RE: Gcode not compatible error
It's quite simple and caused by the hardware setting of the Mk4 . you have to change the hardware settings in the printers menu ( not the slicer) from MK4 to Mk4S .
