PETG blobs on MK4

Hello, I am struggling to print anything with PETG, since it seems to consistently generate blobs after the first few layers. I tried reducing the extrusion multiplier to 0.95, and then to 0.92, but this did not work at all. The brand I used was Overture, and I used the generic PETG profile, with the only changes being the aforementioned ones to the extrusion multiplier.

Assuming the nozzle is clean, did you try running a non-IS profile?

I managed to fix it, by setting the extrusion multiplier all the way down to 0.85.

wow.   .85.   that's pretty crazy.   My paramount 3d petg filament makes me go to .95, but that's the lowest I've ever had to do. Most of my petg brands require .96/.97  to avoid blobs.   Clean nozzle is definitely important.

I think for overture I use .96.  I usually start with the prusament profile and then adjust temp and extrusion multiplier to get where I want to be.   have you tried drying your filament?
