inconsistent top layer(s) over infill

Everything seems to be working fine on my printer except when I print a piece that has a flat area with infill underneath it as in the attachment below. This piece is 75mmx75mmx5mm. After infill the top layers are just not smooth. It feels like sandpaper (some areas worse than others) and the sheen is not at all consistent.

This was printed on the stock Prusa slicer settings. I personally (might be wrong here?) don't believe i should have to modify my print settings for this. It seems to be a solved problem as i've printed for years on my MK3S without this issue, so before I (might) have to dive into software tweaks, i'm curious if anyone knows what might be going on here? Software or hardware wise i guess - at this point i'm up to try almost anything.

I should note; i've also not modified or replaced any of the hardware on my printer, it's all currently stock except for some feet.

Things i've tried via Prusa help/searching forums - all of which gave the same outcome:

- Cleaning the print sheet with both dish soap/alcohol

- Making sure idler screws are properly adjusted

-Making sure nozzle is clean

-Making sure filament is to spec

-Trying a different roll of filament

-Making sure belts are of the correct tension.

-Printed at multiple speeds on both MK4 IS and non IS settings

-Printed with both the brand specific filament settings, and generic settings

-Making sure first layer is perfect

-Confirming edges do lift off of print bed during print.

Any insight here is appreciated.

RE: inconsistent top layer(s) over infill

have had the same issues, and basically it is due to the object lifting in that corner.  Read this, i finally removed all of these effects.

short story is that if you very sure the print isnt separating from the build plate (it almost always is), then just try moving the print to the upper left of the build plate.  i would bet the problem goes away.
