Can’t roll back firmware
I installed the new 5.0.0 alpha firmware to try it out. Now I want to roll back to the (stable) 4.6.2.
I have a freshly-formatted FAT32 thumb drive. It has the 4.6.2.bff file and nothing else on it.
Per the manual, I restart the printer, press and hold the control knob and … nothing. It boots into the 5.0.0 firmware again. No prompt, no attempt to flash the firmware on the thumb drive.
I tried doing a factory reset with just the 4.6.2.bff in the root drive of the USB, but it just reloaded back into the 5.0.0 alpha again.
How do I get back to 4.6.2?

There seems to be some error in the manual, it needs a double click, not a single click or hold on the knob - https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/postid/658390/

Oh great - thanks so much for your help!
For those who have found themselves here - there is an error in the manual. The manual says to click and hold the knob after reboot. Instead, you need to double-click the control knob after rebooting.

Thanks for that! I also couldn't figure it out 🙂
