I received my printer yesterday, to my surprise there is no more z-screw-cover!

This is the z screw cover.
And sits on the z shaft.

No, they have not been forgotten.
These parts are no longer part of the MK4.
Also do not appear in the MK4 printable parts download.

At least it ensures that nothing can get into the z engine.

I am not thrilled how the new servo motor mounts have a deeper hole creating a place for debris to collect.

I always have a can of compressed air close by......

With a good cover, you don't need additional resources to keep it clean.
I have an air compressor, but I don't use it to keep things clean.
I use it mainly to color printed objects by airbrush.

I would agree - a z screw cover is needed.
